Geotechnical specialists, Bachy Soletanche, has started work on a £360,000 piling project for Costain for its client, Viridor Laing (Greater Manchester) Ltd as part of the Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority’s Recycling and Waste Contract, to construct the retaining walls and bearing piles for a new recycling and waste facility on Arkwright Street in Oldham.

Leading geotechnical specialists, Bachy Soletanche and Carillion Pilling are currently working on an £18m geotechnical contract as part of carriageway improvements on the M1, junctions 10 – 13, Luton to Milton Keynes. The work is being carried out for the Costain Carillion Joint Venture working on behalf of the Highways Agency.
