Bachy Soletanche win 2010 Ground Engineering Magazine Award
In a joint venture with Arup Geotechnics Bachy Soletanche were very pleased to accept the 2010 Ground Engineering Magazine prize for works at The Pinnacle Tower in the City of London, in the section Geotechnical works greater than £1m. The award was collected by Bachy Project Manager, Simon Marshall on Friday 5th February on behalf of the project team. The judges recognised this was a most demanding project with very long, base grouted, large diameter piles, some under bentonite, installed through the existing basement plus secant piled walls, restricted access mini-piles, and king posts.
