Majority Share in Vibro Group
Leading geotechnical specialist, Bachy Soletanche Limited (BSL) has announced that it has taken controlling interest of vibroflotation and ground improvement contractor, Vibro Group with immediate effect. The acquisition by Bachy Soletanche will provide the support structure for the Vibro Group to further increase its scope and capabilities in the marketplace.
Based in Preston, Vibro Group specialises in vibroflotation, dynamic compactation and band drain works, with a current annual turnover of five million pounds. The firm has worked together with BSL for several years, providing specialist subcontractor services; and the two businesses share a very strong and collaborative working relationship.

The original owner of Vibro Group, Brendan Henry, retains twenty percent of the shareholding, maintaining a management presence as General Manager of the business. From this position, Brendan will encourage extended collaboration between the two firms, combining their relative expertise to open up new opportunities for the businesses.
