Specialist geotechnical contractor Bachy Soletanche has announced the appointment of Damien Kilkenny as Business Development and Major Projects Manager.
Damien has over 22 years’ experience of working for Bachy Soletanche, most recently heading up the Commercial department for the core business. The new position will have a responsibility for delivering work-winning strategies, enhancing pre-contract business relationships, managing the major projects pipeline and overseeing the marketing function.
Commenting on the appointment Damien said,
“I look forward to working with our dedicated team to develop relationships across the construction industry and provide a real focus for clients wishing to progress schemes at an early stage. There are a number of major projects in the pipeline and my role will be to ensure Bachy Soletanche is at the forefront of helping to deliver real value and outstanding innovative solutions.”

Damien steps into the role recently vacated by Cliff Wren, who has taken up the position of Managing Director at sister company, Roger Bullivant.
